Lunch with the girls today and the lunch was great. Food was delicious and service was excellent. The lunch specials are very good. I had pizza which was great. Salads looked fresh and crisp and soup was delicious. Portion size was huge!!!! This is a great restaurant and one of my favorites!!!!!!

We were there a week ago. We love Italian and I must admit some of the pasta dishes we saw being served gave us great hope. We were in a pizza mood though and that's what we ordered. VERY disappointing. Crust tasted like cardboard. Sauce tasted like it had just been made ... Flavored hadn't really developed. Overall such a disappointment. My hubby usually loves leftover pizza the next day. We tossed this. Service and facility fine. Music was nice but food a disappointment

Viola's is the new Napoli and they have made significant improvements in the décor and furniture. Many of the menu items remained the same. My bride had white pizza with extra blue cheese. She is still in a wonderful pizza cheese haze. I had angel hair pasta with meat sauce, meat balls, and for good measure, sausage. It was excellent. Our friend had spaghetti and meat sauce which she thoroughly enjoyed. OK, so we had nothing special or exotic. Just good plain Italian food. Mr V (from Lindenhurst, LI,NY) and his wife are doing a great job. His wife came by to chat and ask us how everything was. She was delightful and interested in our comments. The server was helpful and attentive. It appears that they are maintain the history of Napoli, and my even be improving on it. We will be back to test my theory.

Almost one hour to start receiving meal and it was delivered in shifts. The owner acted as if it was somehow our fault when in fact we discovered the waiter who took the order didn't get it to the kitchen for over 30 minutes. Then same waiter told his boss an outright lie about one of us telling him to **** off. Our wives and we were incredulous. Never again.

We called Viola's while we were working on a Both Hands project. The pizza got rave reviews from all our volunteers. Viola's was so kind, they even gave us a discount to help with the volunteer project. True New York style pizza.

I had my parents in town and we had pizza for lunch, they were impressed that good pizza could exist in FL! The pizza is consistently good, I like the other new menu additions. The shrimp scampi is my fave and the pesto is delicious. The only complaint we have is that the bread is too firm/ hard for the fish sandwich. But nice improvements have been made to the marinara sauce and if you're hungry the lasagna won't leave you hungry! I would say stop by as this fun little Italian place is always a great casual meal with excellent staff to serve you.

Pizza was good but I've had better NY style pizza. Everything was fresh & hot. Garlic knots were tasty & pizza had plenty of toppings. The cannoli filling was a little thin & had too much chocolate syrup. Great & friendly service.

A pretty dining room jammed with folks who love good Italian. Gluten free options. Excellent pasta, garlic knots, a nice wine list. Prompt service and a good time had by all. The calzone is massive and cheesy. Fried cheesecake makes a decadent dessert.

I went to Violas on a recommendation from a friend. I had been to Napolis which was the establishment prior to Violas. There were 2 of us on Friday night. We were seated in the main dining area. After about 2 min sitting down I realized it was about 85 degrees in the dining room. We decided to sit at the bar. We ordered a house salad and the house special for the night "Blackened grouper with mango sauce". The salad was good and the grouper was aweful!!! I mean disgusting aweful !! Fishing tasting, small portion. I told the server and his reply was " Oh grouper can be a little fishy ". I said yes., if it's old !!!. I think it was tilapia because of the texture. We substituted our meal (sent back) for chicken marsala. I figured a true italian place would have a good chicken marsala. It was dreadful ! We couldn't eat it, clumpy, tasted like alfredo than marsala. We paid our tab and left. Unless your just ordering pizza stay away from this place. It's flat out gross !!

I really looked forward to trying this restaurant . Italian is my favorite food . We ordered the eggplant parm - it was dry as heck and had no flavor. The marinara is out of a jar or can. Absolutely flavorless. The fried ravioli tasted like the fryer oil hadn't been changed since they opened . The calzone was a greasy mess and barely had any ricotta. On a positive note, the restaurant decor looked much better than it did when it was Napoli. The staff was friendly . But food wise the restaurant took two steps back from when it's Napoli. Italian food needs love and it's obvious there is no love put into this food. Disappointed !

When my Dad told me he found the best pizza he had ever had in his life I was wary. Now this was not the best pizza I had ever had (that is pizzaria bianco in Phoenix, AZ) but this was easily second. So much more than any delivery or big chain pizza could ever dream to be. Delicious and piping hot this pizza was well crafted and loaded. The sausage was flavorful and peppy and the vegetables were so full of flavor I wondered if I had been eating imposters my whole life. Each ingredient was the best of its kind. The peppers were juicy and bursting with flavor, the onion had even a sweetness to it and an almost sautéed quality where it had baked so perfectly with the cheese and sauce. My father put it best when he said "I can actually taste every topping on here. I've never had a pizza like that before. I can taste every one in every bite." What more can I say about that? The staff were wonderful and very involved...wanting to know our real opinions on the food. I can't speak to any other dish on the menu but the pizzas are absolutely fantastic.

Fabulous!!! My husband and I had lunch there and it was SOOO good we went back for dinner with 3 family members. The fried shrimp was THE BEST I've ever had-perfectly lightly battered, fried to a wonderful golden brown. Large, meaty and tender. The mixed vegetables were delicious-cooked perfectly with a really good buttery flavor. My husband had the fish tacos and said they were amazing. My sister had a chicken Philly sub and loved it! The servers and bartender were happy, friendly and fast. And the prices were an unbelievable value. For lunch I had the 2 slices of (large and tasty) pizza and large drink for $5 from the lunch menu. We also had the fried cheese-filled ravioli-moist and delicious and fantastic marinara sauce. My husband had Greek salad for lunch- extra fresh with lots of feta cheese. I will go back again and again! The new owner had been there since September we learned. He's doing a GREAT job- it was busy during lunch and dinner. People are finding out about it!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
